About Your Instructor

Lulit Asfaw

Lulit Asfaw is your local Kumon instructor at the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Mason - East. Lulit received her international business degree from St. Cloud, MN. Prior to becoming a Kumon Instructor, Lulit worked in the corporate world for over 10 years.

The inspiration to take on the challenge of becoming a Kumon Instructor came from her own children's Kumon experience. Having grown up in a family that highly valued education, Lulit was determined to give her children the best academic experience. After several years of Kumon study, Lulit was impressed with her children's progress in Math and Reading, as well as the lifelong learning skills they developed through their Kumon studies. That is when Lulit became a believer in the Kumon Method and turned to helping and educating other students as her own career.

Lulit opened her first Kumon Center in Dunedin, FL, in 2017 and run a very successful center. Because of her husband’s job relocation, she moved to Mason, OH, and opened a new center in 2021. She lives in Mason with her two children and her husband. Lulit is committed to building a strong foundation in education for all children.

How Does the Assessment Work?

Your free assessment helps us understand your child’s current learning level so we can recommend the best starting point. During the assessment, your child will complete a placement test, and the instructor will review the results with you and explain how the Kumon Program can support your child’s individual learning needs.

There is no obligation to enroll, and you can reschedule your appointment at any time.
