NIKITA GANATRA
Nikita Ganatra, M.Ed, Owner of Kumon Math and Reading Center of Foothill Ranch, brings a dynamic blend of educational expertise, community leadership, and heartfelt parent engagement to her role. With a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from California State University Fullerton, Nikita began her career teaching 7th and 8th grade—including Gifted and Talented Education—at Walter F. Dexter Middle School. Her commitment to academic excellence led her to serve on the school’s Leadership and Assessment Team, driving initiatives that improved outcomes for low-performing students.
Eager to deepen her impact, Nikita returned to her alma mater to earn a Master’s in Secondary Education and a Single Subject Teaching Credential in English. Her experience spans full-time teaching and specialized roles with the Orange County Department of Education’s ACCESS program, where she used innovative strategies to support English learners and at-risk youth.
Nikita’s passion for education extends beyond the classroom. In New Jersey, she developed youth employment programs as a Job Developer, collaborating with local organizations to empower disadvantaged teens. She has also co-authored Edupad’s iTouch Language Arts application for grades 6-8, integrating technology into learning.
A dedicated community advocate, Nikita has organized annual Family Garba Nights, served as Public Awareness Chair for Soroptimist International Saddleback Valley, and contributed to early childhood policy and resource development in Orange County. Her leadership includes planning fundraising galas for the Boys and Girls Club and serving on the City of Lake Forest’s General Plan Advisory Committee.
Parents consistently praise Nikita for her personalized approach, noting her ability to inspire confidence and a love of learning in every child. Fluent in Hindi and Gujarati, she enjoys connecting with families from diverse backgrounds. Outside Kumon, Nikita cherishes time with her family, cooking new and repeat dishes that are soul-filling and reading.
